GK Update
We've been keeping a low profile over the past few months as we gear up for the next year. Here's what we've been up to.
First off we've been on the back cover of Modern Drunkard Magazine for the past two months, it is an honor for GK to be in any way associated with MDM, the back cover blows us away.
After being on the back cover of MDM the coolest thing to happen to GK over the past months is the construction of our new office. We relocated to Philly and have our office in a large loft. Now all of the operations of GK are under one roof and we have many more employees. That translates to faster shipping, better product and more ways to order.
The most exciting new way to order is phone processing. During our office hours you can call and talk to one of us directly, we'll answer your questions and take your order via our secure server. If we're not there you can use our automated phone system to place your order.
And then there's Boozecash. I know a lot of college students of legal drinking age visit this site. Let me tell you if you are a college student of legal drinking age and you are wondering where your booze money is going to come from this year, check out Boozecash.com. Sign up soon and get teched out on the program, practice on your friends and when you get to school you'll be a booze slinging, cash raking motherfucker.
Seriously though I know a lot of you guys work for these direct marketing programs like cutco™, amway™, mary k™, etc. If your going to do that kind of work do it for Boozecash and at least you can do it for something that your passionate about, like booze and giving free booze to girls. If you're in Philly or in the Philly area we have weekly Boozecash dinners on Thursdays, you can come by and check it out if your interested. Worst case: you get free booze.
Also we've improved and standardized the Enabler model. We made it sleeker and changed some components to make it work better. Right now is the final version of the Enabler. In the next few weeks we are going to offer custom GKs. You'll be able to email us artwork and we'll put it under a clear shrink wrap. That should be cool.
The improvements to the GK are thanks to our custom built GK shop which lets us build the GKs much quicker. Now that we can handle real volume we've started talking with liquor stores about getting the GK on the shelves. We'll be in our first store in about two weeks (in New Jersey [Jersey does the highest volume sales of hard liquor of any state in the USA]). If you want to help the GK get into stores and be rewarded financially go to Boozecash.com (last plug).
And then there's the infomercial. We officially wrapped shooting on the first part of three segments for the infomercial. Ray "Rockin' Ray Collins" Foley is our male on-camera talent. We're looking for his female counterpart, do you want to audition? Email us at team@graykangaroo.com or call us.
Also big thanks to FOC films and (as always) Darkstar Films for their help with the infomercial.
Also we're at about our one year anniversary as a company! We'll have a party for that one. Any ideas?
