Gray Kangaroo Flipping Tips

Some people are confused by flipping the Gray Kangaroo so here are some tips:

When you flip the Gray Kangaroo grab it at the bottom of the bottles (not the middle) and flip it in one smooth motion.


A Gray kangaroo can easily fall when filtering but with some practise it's pretty easy to keep it from falling. There's nothing worse than hearing that smash followed by someone yelling "Kangaroo Down!"

The Gray Kangaroo is most unstable right after a flip when all of the liquor is in the top bottle. Make sure to sit with it a minute to be sure that it is not swaying, that the surface it is on is level and that the bottom bottle is not dented.

Often people will rest the filtering kangaroo against the handles in a cabinet or in a corner.
