Drink-A-Que with the Phenomenauts, AKAs and Maldroid

GK sponsored a Drink-A-Que for the guys before their show at the 941 Theater and premiered our new Vodka Diet Drink which we would call "Leprechaun Piss" but there's already a drink called that, so we had another name, but forgot it. Do you remember it?

Anyway the drink is great the recipe is:

Filtered Vodka
Fresh Squeezed Grapefruit
Blended Mint

When we served it it was on the back porch out of a big plastic jug so we used regular grapefruit juice in addition to the fresh squeezed stuff and loads more vodka to make larger servings, but in a bar or at home it would be served as a martini. It's a very nice drink, like a vodka Mojito with no sugar!

I've just come back from an international trip and checked out the duty free prices. In the airport where I was top shelf liquor previously went for $12 a liter. Now, a year later, the prices have jumped to $14.50. This significant increase is clearly due to the weakening dollar.

A: Refill For Life is a program from Gray Kangaroo Personal Liquor Filters where we will refurbish your replaceable cartridges for your life

Q: How much does the Unlimited Refill Forever service cost?
A: The service is $19.95 and includes a replacement cartridge.

Q: How long does it take to get a filter back?
A: It can take as long as four weeks from when you ship your filter to us, but we always try to get orders out as quickly as possible.

Q: How do you know that I have an authorized RFL filter?
A: Authorized filters will have gray end caps or an infinity brand on the filter. For very early adopters, your unit may not have markings. If this is the case contact us and we'll help you out.

Q: How once I’m signed up, how do I use the program.

Gray Kangaroo Flipping Tips

Some people are confused by flipping the Gray Kangaroo so here are some tips:

When you flip the Gray Kangaroo grab it at the bottom of the bottles (not the middle) and flip it in one smooth motion.

A Gray kangaroo can easily fall when filtering but with some practise it's pretty easy to keep it from falling. There's nothing worse than hearing that smash followed by someone yelling "Kangaroo Down!"

The Gray Kangaroo is most unstable right after a flip when all of the liquor is in the top bottle. Make sure to sit with it a minute to be sure that it is not swaying, that the surface it is on is level and that the bottom bottle is not dented.

Often people will rest the filtering kangaroo against the handles in a cabinet or in a corner.
